He has written music for films and released many albums and CDs both as a solo artist and also whilst working with Scottish rock and folk bands including Cado Belle, The Ideal Band and The Zydeco Ceilidh Band.
Throughout this varied career his favourite style of music for live performance has always been, and still remains........the Blues.

Dougie Robertson

Dougie Robertson -  Lead vocals, Rhythm guitar and Percussion.

Dougie began playing drums at 17 to alleviate the boredom of serving an apprenticeship in plumbing. He spent a number of years playing drums and singing backing vocals in numerous rock bands in Ayrshire before emigrating to Australia for 11 years, playing and singing in bands there.
After a break from live music he took up guitar as a hobby and played in a band at Davis station in Antarctica whilst working there for 6 months.
Returning to Scotland in 1997 he met up with Ty Williamson and their love of rock and Blues led to a music collaboration that continues to this day.......Ty puts up with Dougies' guitar playing and Dougie puts up with Tys' lack of any vocal output!

Ty Williamson

Ty Williamson - Lead Guitar

Before moving to Scotland in 1996 Ty played mostly rock music in bands including Deja Vu, No Quarter and Restless Natives. On moving to the west coast of Scotland and thinking his band playing days were probably over, a chance meeting with Dougie Robertson led to them forming  the blues/rock band Framed and playing for 12 years.
He has taught Guitar ( acoustic and electric ) for over 20 years and although not a prolific songwriter, the ones that do emerge are usually worth the wait.
Dedicated to the classic Gibson Les Paul/Marshall combination and sound, MUDSLIDE sees Ty very comfortably back home, with his first love, the Blues.
